New York City decided to build their own time and attendance called CityTime with an original budget of $68million (the cost of the project ballooned to over $700 million) .
At $2/employee/month, NYC could have used our product for 116 years spending that amount of money (and that’s if they paid up front, we charge monthly).
We just updated the employee schedule and the action messages when employees clock in to include any notes attached to their schedule. This allows managers/supervisors to post additional information about their shift that they want to pass on to the employee.
Under MANAGE MY BUSINESS, you will see a link that is your companies ‘Employee URL’. Give this URL to your employees so they can log in from home and check their schedules or request time off. Don’t worry though, they can’t punch in or out.

What does this mean for our clients? It means that if you use any one of these payroll software packages you could save up to two days a week in data entry and verification for payroll processing. In your TimeWellScheduled settings, you can choose “Manage My Company” and choose your payroll vendor under “General Settings”. Once your time sheets are all verified and exceptions have been managed, you can prepare your payroll report with a single click as an export. The exported file is in the format that your payroll software understands and can import for processing by your bank.

We just updated the login page to include new employee code/password entry fields, as well as allowing for dynamic page sizes. Some clients commented that due to smaller screen sizes they had to scroll left/right to see the entire screen, so we made a change so the page re-sizes based on the screen size.
Templates are predefined weekly schedules that saves you the time from having to add a shift each day.
Setting up a template under MANAGE MY BUSINESS-MANAGE TEMPLATES is a simple and quick process. Give your template a recognizable name, then check off the days that the template applies to, and the times you want the employee to work:
Once created, go into SCHEDULING and beside an employee’s name (who has no schedule for the week), you can add a template by click the green +:
Select the template you want to use and the actual scheduled entries will be shown:
Click Add. With just 2 clicks, you have a whole week of shifts added.
