Security email alert sent to administrators

Monday, December 31st, 2012

I just received this email:

There has been 2 unsuccessful attempts to log into ‘ [your URL] ’ using 2 Employee Code ’000264′ & ’000262′. Therefore that IP address has been banned for an hour.

Details of the IP banned:
IP : 123.123.123.123
Location: CANADA – XXXXXXXX

This means that someone (and it may be the same person) has tried to log into the site with 2 different employee codes. This may be a legitimate attempt by an employee, but it could also mean a brute attack with a person or automated system trying different employee codes. To protect your site, we temporarily blocked that IP from trying to log in, and email you a warning.

How do I turn on/off alerts when employees are late for a meal or break?

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Under Manage My Business » General » Manage My Schedule Settings and Time Card Settings, there are two options you can turn on or off:

Alerting Employees Before Their Schedule Start

Thursday, April 19th, 2012

Employees AND management/business owners can now have their employees be emailed before their shift starts.

Alerting Employees Before Their Schedule Start

With this option, the employee will be sent an email at the preset time, before their shift start.

So no more excuses they didn’t know they had a shift.

Several New Features Being Added to the Website This Weekend!

Friday, March 11th, 2011

This weekend, we are adding several new features to the TimeWellScheduled website:

1 – When printing schedules, the department code is added to the colour coding so you can easily see on black and white print outs what department each employee works.
2 – When an employee misses a break or meal, we now show an alert in the timecard sheet
3 – When you filter down to a specific employee, we switch to a month view instead of the standard weekly.
4 – New scheduling alerts let you see when you’re paying overtime, under hours or shifts are too close together
