    Resource Planning – Schedule Layout

     

    We’ve added a new schedule layout called ‘Resource Planning’. You can view this layout by clicking the calendar on the scheduling page.

     

    In this view, each department and absence has their own icon to show what the employee is doing:

    The columns at the end are:

     

    Balance = Due time – Effective time

    Effective time = the number of hours the employee has already worked over the defined period (approved hours)

    Due time = the number of hours the employee has to work over the defined period based on a normal work week (ie. If you have 40hrs a week before the employee goes into OT, then due time is 40)

    Planned time = the number of hours that are planned for this employee over the defined period (scheduled hours)

     

    To set this up you need to update 2 areas:

     

    Departments

    Edit a department and pick an icon or letter to represent the department:

    Absence Types
    Edit an absence and pick an icon or letter to represent the department:


    The icon or letter you use will show in the schedule above.
