We have 2 controls to ensure employee schedules do not run non-stop, making their timecard report a much larger number than it really is.
Control 1 – Based on the maximum shift length, we auto log an employee off 1 hour after this. For example, if Department A has a maximum shift length of 10 hours, the system will automatically log them off after 11 hours.
Control 2 – On normal day shifts, we log off employees at midnight.
